Friday 19th March 2010
Dear Parents and Carers
The children in Years 4 and in class 3B have been taking part in some exciting drumming lessons every Tuesday.
They would now like to invite you along to see and listen to a showcase of their drumming talents on Wednesday 31st March at 9.30am.
It would be really great if you could attend as they are all fantastic drummers.
We look forward to seeing you on the Wednesday 31st March.
Yours sincerely
Derek Hewie

On Thursday 26th November and Friday 27th November 2009 we will be having our termly DT days.
These two days are when we get a chance to work solidly on our DT task to design, make and evaluate our product. The children are very excited about this and the teachers would dearly love your support. If you can offer any support whether it is for an hour or two we would greatly appreciate it.

Friday 25th September 2009
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for your feedback for homework at Grazebrook. We have taken on board your comments and adjusted our policy which is reflected in the attached leaflet.
From the feedback;
- Parents requested that both Maths and English is given each week rather than just one subject. Our action is to do this and have the occasionally time when topic work may also be given but the time spent on homework for each class will be the same as stated in the leaflet.
- All homework will be sent home by teachers with context information sheets, so parents can understand why they are doing certain things for homework and how it fits into the current class work.
- As I too would expect, ALL homework will be marked by the staff and feedback will be given so you can see how your child is doing.
Many thanks for participating in our consultation.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Michelle Thomas
